Yes, we require someone to be present at the beginning of the appointment to discuss your pet's grooming needs and at the end to review the finished grooming. However, you don't need to stay throughout the entire session - you can go about your day while we work our magic!
Our experienced groomers are trained to work with pets of all temperaments. The one-on-one attention in a mobile setting actually helps reduce anxiety compared to traditional salons. We use gentle handling techniques and take breaks as needed. For extremely anxious or aggressive pets, we'll discuss the best approach with you beforehand.
It depends on your pet's breed, coat type, and lifestyle. Generally, dogs should be groomed every 4-8 weeks. Short-haired breeds may need less frequent grooming (every 8-12 weeks), while long-haired breeds may benefit from grooming every 4-6 weeks. We can provide personalized recommendations based on your pet's specific needs.
Please ensure your pet has been fed at least 2 hours before the appointment and has had a chance to use the bathroom. Make sure we have access to park our van near your home (within 50 feet). If your pet has any special requirements or health concerns, please let us know in advance.
